Initially - look at this tutorial:it's for win-8x but does also apply to win-10 as well.it is preferred to install a Linux system after any Windows system,as the windows system doesn't always recognize any other system, & even other windows system can be tricky.the win-10 updates don't seem to affect the Linux partition or it's loader,- only the Windows installer messes with the Linux loader.so there is a risk of the win-10 installer overwriting the Linux loader,in which case you would have to re-install the loader, but not the whole Linux itself.
